Forget about the schooling, I'm talking about do you have the stomach/steady hands to be a surgeon.

I used to think I could never, but recently (since my own sinus surgery) I've become interested in the ear/nose/throat anatomy. I find it more fascinating rather than disgusting. I think I could do it.

Of course you could. And the lawsuits would follow.

As long as I've had a good strong drink.

With the available information on the internet, and this vast generation of self-inflated fricktards, I'm sure amateur home surgery will become a thing in the next 10 years. They'll win a lot of Darwin Awards.

If I go back to school I'd consider it. Blood and guts and the inner workings of the body fascinate me.

I could cut open anyone. Nothing about it makes me squeamish. The most awe inspiring moment of my life was assisting with a craniotomy on an awake patient. It was like seeing space or something spiritual.

Knew a "dentist" that treated people at his home. True story.

Not a chance. I couldn't be a regular doctor much less sawing on some dude in the ER.

I have the stomach for it. Blood and guts don't bother me one bit. I definitely don't have the hands for it though. I have gorilla wrench pulling hands.

Well I start school in the fall so I hope I can... Or I will be in serious debt

I've seen 2 bypass surgeries and an ACL repair so having the stomach for it is not an issue.

My hands are steady as frick, but I don't got the stomach for it. I get light-headed just thinking about surgery.
