Yes, no doubt about it.

Wouldn't have to show a gun and would have time to chat up the teller and meet her for drinks later.

If you really want to ensure you get a lot of cash, hit a weed dispensary in Colorado.

They'll have hundreds of thousands in cash apparently at any given time and no bank security. Just a safe, cameras, locking doors and armed guards, which is nothing compared to a bank.

It depends what you mean by pull off. I'm pretty much positive that I could get out of the building with the money. I remember reading an article a while back that bank employees are trained to cooperate with robbers. The money is insured anyway, and it isn't worth risking an employees life. It really isn't worth it to be a hero.

Whether or not I would go uncaught long term is another issue. It isn't like you can just take the money straight to your bank to deposit it in your checking account.

That's it. Go in to sell a couple pounds. Clear security. When they open the safe to pay you. Take it all.

Disguise and yes, I think it would be rather easy.

Hell, people steal actual ATM's and never get busted and that takes a lot longer than a bank robbery.

I think I could have a decent chance if I planned for a year.

But who the frick has time for that?

Easy way to prevent that...put a locating device in the ATM. If it recognizes movement, it alarms the cops and sends it's travelling coordinates.

To the other poster, yes, getting away scott free and never getting caught.

I'll bet some people have done it for the challenge and adrenaline rush.

I don't think so. Although I am not averse to a life of crime I don't think I could pull it off

Best route would be like the movie place beyond the pines. Dual sport bike and hit the woods.

Or you could just let loose a bunch of dogs. That would keep the cops busy

Frick that. You'd be better off just scamming old people. There are plenty of old people with six figures just sitting in the bank.

I've watched Inside Man. So yes, I could pull off a bank heist.

Hitting a liquor store that cashes checks first thing in the AM on the first of the month would be a much higher yield, and not a Federal deal. You'd better be loaded heavy though, because they will fight you.

Little Caesars about 10pm on a Friday night. They bring in probably $1000/hr mostly cash, you could walk out with $5k easy. None of the teenagers working there are going to put up a fight.
