shite. what would one of these cops do if he saw a damn outlaw with a 9 pointed at him.
probably put a bullet in him.If he is threatened by a dog, why would he be too intimidated to unload into a criminal?

if a perp is verbally threatening you, even flailing or what not, the cop is going to beat his ass. not shoot him.

re: Cop shot the neighbor's dog...

Dad gets the call, gets to the parking lot and drives 3 miles home. So we're well over 10 minutes from the initial alarm sounding. He's been inside for 3-5 minutes and then the cops show up. So the cops are responding to an alarm at least 15 minutes after the triggering of it like someone is still there? Terrible.

Trigger happy cop defenders won't acknowledge this fail.

Being stupid by not applying human relationships and emotion to a canine? You got me then

frick your dad

Most but not all cops have turned into scared pussies who have started to shoot anything in sight and just say they feared for their lives and all is "justified". shite like this is why nobody trusts cops. I would make this cops life a living hell with a civil suit and anything else I could do legally

I understand they still need to treat the situation like something could happen, but for fricks sake go knock on the front door. If no one answers, then take a look around the house.

Not terrible, normal. There are so many false alarms that cops don't get too excited about them. Due to crying wolf they aren't high priority.

So if it were an actual intruder in the garage and not the cop, do you still see it as being fine to kill the dog? I mean he could be a threat to the intruder and all.

Because a human life is worth more than a dog's life.

I gotta agree. It's just a frickin dog. Cry, bury it, and move on.

I understand. Which is all the more reason he didn't need to play barney fife in the carport first.

My neighbors alarm was going off a few weeks ago. Cops came about 15-20 minutes later. First stop was to knock on the front door because a vehicle was in the driveway and lights were on.

Why is this not the case for Police K9's?

Has nothing to do with it. An unfortunate event happened.

People started talking about killing people over it
