COP let me off with a warning: no bribe or sexual favors

Get this: I ran a red light; I was going 43 in a 25; didn't have my proof of insurance or registration; and got off with a warning. I didn't bribe or offer sexual favors. Just goes to show there is a proper way to talk to a COP when you get pulled over. My BIL is a COP. He told what to do when I get pulled over to get out of a ticket. It works.

The first three times I got pulled over I was let off with a warning. Even some time after that, I got pulled over for having a brake tag that expired two years prior, and still got off with a "make sure to get that taken care of"

Be nice and respectful to cops and most of the time they will do the same. Don't try to be a dipshit hard arse who gives them short answers and tries to argue with them. Let the think they're right and they'll let you off with a warning most of the time. Has happened to me on numerous occasions.

Have your license out and use good manors. I told him that light changes awfully quit and I didn't realize I was in a 25. My saving grace was we were 100 yards from a 45 MPH sign. Never argue and just apologize when then confront you with an infraction.
