Who decides this stupidity?
Are you saying you think the moon landing was fake?

I love the Saints. A few decades ago I would have a ruined week when the Saints or a team I rooted for lost, always hopeful on Sundays. About 10 years ago I stumbled on something that opened my eyes. I started doing research and soon it was clear. I was sad because it was like telling a child Santa is no longer real. I got over it real quick though and it has paid off.
Same thing with me and LSU. But we all have to grow up sometime.
I understand now why people still watch pro wrestling even though they know it's fixed. There's still entertainment value in it. Plus, if you pay attention you can make a few bucks.
I watch football totally differently now than I used to. I watch now to see how the game will be controlled. Strategically placed holding penalties are always a good momentum killer. Or any other penalty involving "judgement" calls (pass interference, etc.)
It's why I can't even stomach basketball anymore, at any level. EVERY call is "judgement." That's a sport that's become unwatchable.
Then, of course, baseball is controlled by the home plate umpire calling balls and strikes. There's a reason you can't argue balls and strikes.
And I love these replays now in all sports, just to let us know that everything is fair and on the up-and-up. It's a joke.

All that training and film study is to keep the game alive for the players. They just pawns. Money determines the outcomes.

The NFL and NBA are just entertainment. The Great Roman Colosseum.

Why would you choose that particular conspiracy theory over the one I cited?
The point is, why would you believe one government conspiracy theory over another? And as much as the government and the media lies to us constantly, why would you believe ANYTHING either said?

Then why don't you and the other poster tell everyone about your experience instead of just posting some vague shite. "I saw something that changed my opinion forever!"...and then not post what happened

What about all the times in sports that the best financial scenario or outcome doesn't happen??? They just flip a coin at the beginning of each season and if it's heads they get to fix it?

Lol exactly. It may lean more towards one team intentionally, but it isn't just flat out rigged.

There are things that are reasonable when you consider coverups and conspiracies. Then, there are things that are unreasonable. When you have as many people involved as the moonshot, covering up would be impossible. It's an unreasonable conspiracy

Yea, I totally believe refs or players or coaches have tried to negatively influence a game one way or the other. And that will always happen with a few people
But those that think the entire league is all one big fix is pretty funny. When you have the best athletes in the world playing a sport against each other, you don't need to rig anything in order for it to be maximum entertainment.

While you continue to bash on idiots who believe EVERYTHING, you're just the exact same but on the opposite end of the spectrum and believe nothing
Like most things, the answers are usually somewhere in the middle and most rational people can see that

We're talking about a scientific endeavor. There really isn't anything nefarious about the moon shot.

I'm just gonna try and stay away from this thread. Arguing with extremists on both ends usually makes my head want to explode.
So I'll just leave it at this: If you believe anything and everything you see on the Internet or what the media tells you, you're an idiot. If you don't believe anything anyone tells you and always assume there's an underlying larger power at play controlling certain events or outcomes, you're also an idiot

Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?
I can tell you with 100% certainty that we did go and land on the moon. I can also tell you that we were contacted by aliens there as well. That's the reason we haven't went back. 100% fact.

There are things that are reasonable when you consider coverups and conspiracies.
Is it reasonable to believe that a virgin gave birth to some guy that was murdered and came back to life and now lives in the clouds with his dad?
How reasonable is that? Does anyone believe it to be reasonable?

The wild card is money and power. Where that is concerned, conspiracy runs rampant. It's an inconvenient truth about our species.
