Digital fingerprints and bg check through the station on independence, did everything online. Had about a 10 day turnaround

I am in Georgia but I went in on a Thursday and paid the fee and had the digital fingerprints done at the sheriff's office in the courthouse. Left for vacation the next day and my card was waiting for me when I got back so somewhere between 5 to 7 days. I think it helped that I had a TWIC card so all of my information had recently been ran through the same systems.

Thanks for the responses.

Seems like it could come anytime between now and the apocalypse...

For those wondering.

Did everything online (payment, fingerprints, etc.)
And applied for lifetime permit.
No arrests, divorces, any of that for reason to hold up the process.

Application sent first week of July.
Still pending.
