Is there a female friend that you can get to try and talk to her and offer her some friendship? I can't imagine losing a young daughter like she said she did.

I don't think she has many female friends. She's pretty much a tomboy - I get the feeling that women irritate the hell out of her

also, she's mentioned to me twice contemplating suicide. now, that may be a manipulation tactic or it may not be

she doesn't dump her problems on me - I see her maybe once a month and talk a little. This coming out to my property just started in the last week. Something's going on but I need her to understand she can't just go out there anytime she feels like it.

I would get a local to look after your place for a fee. I would tell her that unfortunately your going to have ask her to not come on your property anymore. Tell the sheriff about this situation so you will be prepared to act.

have a neighbor who watches property. he's the one who alerted me

Yeah, the sheriff thing is going thru my mind today - but would you just come out and tell her the sheriff dept will run her off the property?

No, tell the sheriff and let him run her off the property. You can act like you have had problems with others and they are just looking after your property for you.

Couple of things:

First, don't get too close to this chick. She's Calamity Jane... a new disaster every week, without fail. It's only a matter of time until you become related to one of her disasters.

Secondly, there's no way a gal like this is just showing up on your property to enjoy the woods and some quiet nature time. I guarantee you she's stashing something on your property.

Do not allow this woman to set foot on your property. Make it 100% clear that this is not to happen.

That is complicated. People always say oh it's complicated but it really isn't. This is truly complicated.

This. Is she hurting anything around? If not, what's the big deal?

Damn..so it's either ditch her, frick her, or do nothing? Calling the police is fricking bitchmade esp considering the bf is in jail still..now if you hear both of them are there..I could maybe see calling the people..that's something I'd avoid if possible though. If you really care about this person and are trying to get them on the right track..maybe put her to work at your place for a couple bucks? Oh...can't believe nobody has said pics..wtf ot

If you are friends with anyone in the sheriffs department, give them the brief recap you gave us. If anything should happen to you or she later claims something happened to her, you have someone in law enforcement that knows your side.

If you do not have them join you for the discussion, you need to record it.

She is capable of doing all of those things. Not his problem.

I'd let her stay for a week or so, but tell her it is temporary. I assume she lost her child and home in legal issues?

While capable, she might not be thinking clearly and needs a push in the right direction. Many people get upset and do irrational things. Being depressed is just a long-term example of that, and the girl probably just needs to be helped a little bit, and doesn't know it.
