Colorado man declares he is King of Wales in two-column Times ad

Allan V. Evans of Colorado, USA, believes he is no ordinary man.
He is so certain of that fact that he has taken out a large, two-column advert in today's Times newspaper to declare his claim to the throne of Wales.
He declares that in 30 days he is going to claim his historic Royal estate, all lands, assets and titles including the "Royal Title and Crown of Wales".
Mr Evans is, according to himself, the descendant of the first King of Wales.
His long and glorious lineage is set out in detail in his closely-printed advert.
He declares: "Allan V. Evans... is a direct descendant of an unbroken line of primogeniture line legally documented since the 3rd Century".
He believes his ancestor was Cunedda Wledig, who he describes as "the founder of the Kingdom of Wales, then known as the Kingdom of Gondor".
...
He concludes with in a rhetorical flourish declaring that his return to claim the crown is the fulfilment of Tolkien's writing in the Lord of the Rings.
He writes: "For the Legend was not a myth but was indeed true, and more than a mere Tolkien story, that the men of the West are now returning and now is the time of the return of the King."

How nice of him not to depose Elizabeth. What a gentleman.

This is standard among the aristocracy. You make a bold claim for the throne, but to prevent bloodshed, the crown settles and gives you a dukedom.

I really hope a camera crew follows his journey and gets all the footage of him trying to declare his birth rite.

That's how I knew he's legitimate.
would this be the first iteration of a royal starting his own GoFundMe page?
I'm going to assume he blew all his remaining cash on this decree in the newspaper, and needs money for the flight to London to pull his sword from the stone
