He is stupid for saying that's why he did what he did. He don't like playing for Chip Kelly and wouldn't be surprised if he isn't trying to get cut.

I would never sit for for the anthem but playing it before every game is stupid IMO.

So what?

Only reason it fuels hate is because of people like you.

I hate when we do this. When will America stop oppressing African American multi-millionaire sports figures, celebrities, activists, and business owners. This country is despicable.

I don't really understand why the media is making such a huge deal out of it.

I always stand and put my hand over my heart for the national anthem, and sing along most of the time. But why this is national news is beyond me. Call him an a-hole and move on.

It's pretty simple. He can easily move somewhere else where he agrees more with their societal values. He has the means to do that.

But he would never do such a thing and give up all the fame and fortune this terrible society has granted him.

I thought you had the freedom to do what you wanted regarding the national anthem.

And that's fine. I don't care if people sit for the anthem. I mean I've done it before at games.

It's his asinine and hypocritically ironic reasoning that makes it ridiculous.

I read that the NFL encourages but does not require players to stand for the anthem. This is a CK attention whoring and trying to get traded by Chip. Maybe the Cowboys will trade for him and we can watch this board melt hard.

No kidding. Just wait until we get a black president, an all black senate, all black house, all black supreme court, and an all white prison system. Then we will finally not be oppressors.

You do have the freedom, but when the message that's being sent is hypocritical (he gets more out of America than 99.99% of people do) then you can expect that he will get arse blasted

Plus isn't is our freedom to criticize his statement? It's almost dumb that you pointed it out. No one in here thinks it's illegal to do what he did. He can say whatever the frick he wants as long as he's willing to face the consequences of his actions, in this case being viewed as a massive douchebag.
