Leftists. My favorite example is how they think the government, specifically the police, is a racist force and yet they want to disarm Americans when the purpose of the 2A is to fight tyranny (which would include an actual racist government).
How about conservatives that constantly complain about how we need smaller government, yet want the government involved in gay marriage, abortion, war on drugs, etc.

I don't understand how Christians can support capitalism. Jesus would support free healthcare and all that stupid shite.

"small government" conservatives

conservatives who can't accept the fact that a true conservative would and should be socially liberal.
A poor, southern conservative who is concerned with the taxes of the wealthy.
A rich conservative who believes their donations to campaigns are for good.

Right there with you except on abortion (nothing to do with religion for me unlike many conservatives).

another good one would be Christian parents who dictate who their kids hang out with. Or Christians not associating themselves with non Christians. Meanwhile, these folks "try to be like Jesus everyday"
quote:
And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

By and large, the more majority boxes you can check, the more cognitive dissonance your group tends to have.
White?
Male?
Christian?
Conservative?
Middle to upper middle class?
I'm all of the above and I'm blessed, but the majority of my group thinks we're under attack, so my group is the answer.

Ehh, one of these is not like the others, at all, but your overall point is solid.

Actually Jesus was into capital investment (see parable of the talents) and basically acknowledged the validity of a tiered, class-based society ("the poor will always be with you").
