I have about 70 publications downloaded into Endnote that cover this topic quite well. My only excuse for bragging is that I'm reading through some of them right now for a class presentation.

Noory is so obviously out of his league with these kinds of guests, he makes it difficult to enjoy a show. As soon as a guest really starts to get into the subject, Noory spouts off some
idiotic question or comparison that has nothing to do with the topic.

I find it fascinating that there are bacteria living on rock surfaces thousands of feet below the surface, away from any light source, that live off of thermal and chemical energy. And they live in conditions (pressure/pH/etc) that would be toxic to anything on the surface.

This makes me even more optimistic about finding life in the cosmos. It also makes me wonder where did life first evolve on earth. On the surface using sunlight for energy, or below the surface using chemical/thermal sources for energy, or was there more that one instance or genesis on earth.

Most life on earth is actually deep below the sea floor.

That is a heavily debated topic, and there may not be one single answer. There are several different theories as to how life evolved. One of which is that chambers in hydrothermal vents provide a series of different types of chemical reactions to occur. When you have the right chemicals in place, heat and redox couples take over. Another theory looks at RNA precursors that began to also act as catalysts. They eventually allowed for self-replication, and slowly developed into something far more complex.

I also find it awesome that there are more bacterial cells in our bodies than our own human cells.

Tunein has stations playing old Art Bell C2C shows. I highly recommend.

Youtube sometimes has recent C2C shows.

It is beyond frustrating. I'm convinced he does zero prep of his own and is handed 3x5 cards by his producers that he promptly drops and they get out of order.

YouTube George Noory Pizza Roll Story. It's a quick animated representation of Noory telling the story of him burning himself by biting into a pizza roll haha

Did they discuss anything about the possibility of non carbon based microbes on Earth. Like a silica based thermal vent living microbe.
