I can't believe this hasn't been all over here the way the Casey Anthony trial was. This woman is crazy

Noway are they going to get her for 1st degree murder. Pretty much every night, HLN has a fake jury listen to certain aspects of the trial and when they ask for a vote, all the whites vote guilty, but there's always a couple minorities who vote innocent. I'm sure they are the same type that still think OJ didn't kill Nicole and Ron. I didn't realize so many of my peers are in fact retarded. It's kind of depressing.

I think they have spent upwards of $2 million so far on this trial

I wonder how much the city of Phoenix has made from all the news people, etc., who've swooped into town like vultures to cover the trial. The trial has attracted media from around the world, so you figure there've been hundreds, maybe thousands of people staying at hotels, eating at restaurants, drinking at bars and so forth. It'd be interesting to see how it all tallies up.

Anyway, regarding the trial: murder one/death sentence/appeals/possible retrial—I'm betting that's how things will play out.

There is no way this woman is getting acquitted.

I doubt Jodi has any mob connections that would tamper with the jurors.

my g/f's mom works from home and has watched/listened to almost every minute of this trial. she seems to think Jodi will either be found not guilty or found guilty of a lesser charge. she seems to think there is no way she will be found guilty of murder 1 based on the trial.

I havent watched much of this trial, but i take her word for it. I watched almost all of the casey anthony trial and was not at all shocked when she was aquitted even though the rest of the world (who probably didn't watch much of the trial) was outraged.

That isn't the only reason to sequestor a jury. Do you really believe these jurors haven't watched the trial coverage on HNN? The only reason I think the jury will convict is because every show I have seen (not many) is pro prosecution.

Cost-saving move—remember, the trial is in Arizona, one of the cheapest states in the nation when it comes to dispensing justice. If the state had it's way, they'd just buy some rope at Walmart, find a suitable tree, hang the bitch ... and then return the rope to Walmart for a refund.

I imagine the non-sequestering could be an issue in the inevitable appeals.
