Surprised they didn't give the kid to CPS, seize the house, and refer the case to the Feds for federal prosecution. Also, that dog had think the end was coming. At least the 9 year old knows what's it like to be "protected and served".

If it's a money grab, why not get everything?

For all we know, the dildo could have really been a detonator for a snuke she was smuggling in her shniz given to her by her drug lords to protect the goods in case she was captured by the fuzz. Nevertheless, this cat was shaved clean and I bet the dog's could smell her from a mile away.

“After they breached the door at gunpoint with masks, they proceeded to take every belonging in my house,” Shattuck said. The cops’ haul included bicycles, her husband’s tools, a lawn mower, a weed whacker, her children’s Christmas presents, cash (totaling $85) taken from her daughter’s birthday cards, the kids’ car seats and soccer equipment, and vital documents such as driver’s licenses, insurance cards, and birth certificates. “How do you explain to your kids when they come home and everything is gone?” Shattuck asked. She added that her 9-year-old daughter is now afraid of the police and “cried for weeks” because the cops threatened to shoot the family dog during the raid. Although “my husband and I have not been convicted of any crime,” Shattuck said, they cannot get their property back, and their bank accounts remain frozen.

What the frick? Where do these people come from that agree to do this job?

Agreed. It takes a certain type of bravery rarely found in today's society to don the mask and invade the homes of dangerous criminals to keep our streets safe. We should be thankful that there are men out there with the mettle to do such heroic tasks. Recruiting must be near impossible to find them though.

I know a gal personally in BR who let me listen to the audio(she was smart to set her phone to record when she got to the house) of her soon to be ex husband showing up at her house with local police to retrieve some items.

husband: and what about the vibrator? I bought it.
her: the big purple one ?
husband: yea. i want it back
policeman: are you serious?
husband: yes. where is that [her name]?
her: where it's been since you left.
another policeman: is this for real?

then they led him inside to retrieve it.
She said it was huge and purple and would never fit in her but he always wanted to try it on her.

Should be pretty easy. You get a badge, a tacticool gun, immunity from prosecution, and get to steal whatever you want so long as it is probably associated with a crime. State sponsored threats on a family dog is just a perk.

Who wouldn't want that job?

Also easy, just say that criminals came in and stole everything. That's some solid winning hearts and minds stuff right there.
That 9 year old will never forget what the police did that day.

I guess I am a naive person when it comes to the general population.
