Had a leash on my son, fellow td poster, when he was 2yo. It was the only way we could contain him and he turned out normal.

It's a safety issue, nothing more.

I'm a shitty parent by OT standards, but I refused to ever put my kids on a leash, even when it would have been helpful.

that's different. I saw that for the first time in Penn avenue in DC. If one person has 15 kids to watch, that's the best way.
