it looks to me as though he was walking backwards, so that means either the cop shot him in his chest as he was walking away with his hands down or he was shot in the back by a cop that was behind him

That's what I'm interested in. If he was shot in the chest and there was an officer behind him that he was moving towards, that could go either way. But it's also a very dangerous shot to take.

After listening to family attorney in Scott shooting, it is obvious to me that he has shifted focus to civil case by using word negligence.

Scott family attorney also talked about "lack of training". That means to me they know no criminal charges are likely. Remedy is civil case.

Charlotte will settle with the family and this will go away fairly quickly.

Standard Operating Procedure.

Video leaves a lot to be desired. I would not call lit "indisputable evidence" as the chief stated. Cannot see if he had a gun. But we certainly can't believe his wife who said "he does not have a gun". I agree with the officers not being charged, unless a clear video comes out showing he did not have a gun in his hands.

Not sure of this other video made it in the thread. Probably did. Just in case. Does not add much.

Is there any evidence of his Traumatic Brain Injury? She said he had just taken his medicine, was it recovered at the scene?

Also, can you read a book with a Traumatic Brain Injury?

Sure, unless the TBI affected areas specific to reading. I have not seen anything about the specifics of his alleged TBI.

I am not sure why the cops just did not let his wife try to talk with him. Or maybe she did not even offer. I can guarantee you if that was a relative of mine I would have pled with the officers to let me do that

Wait a second. This mfer had an ankle holster on, according to the cops. In that video he reached toward his leg right before they shot him.

Somebody help me with this one. Did he have the fun in his hand or did he reach for his ankle like I think I see?0

It sounds like the first shot went off before he made a move towards his ankle. Looks more like reaction to getting shot

The rioters think of themselves as victims, and victims are never at fault. Someone else is always at fault, and the police are a convenient antagonist. First they were believed to have unjustly shot a man. Now that evidence the shooting was justified is becoming available they need a new excuse. I jokingly posited that they would continue to blame the police, but for a different reason.

There is no question that the rioters are responsible for their individual conduct. However they do not see it that way.

Regardless, if he had a gun, he made no attempt to raise his arm to threaten anyone. I am no liberal, but the video I just watched was a needless shooting.
