I guess this is the best place for this so here goes.

Can any of you fine folks recommend a ceiling fan that moves a lot of air for a home worout room? The one that's in there is builder grade and doesn't do squat.

I'm hoping to spend around $200, but willing to go higher if necessary.

Thanks.

honestly, most any fan will move a hell of a lot of air if it is mounted correctly. distance between the fan and the ceiling is probably the biggest factor in how much air it will move. trouble is, a lot of ceilings are too low to allow the fan to be mounted with the right amount of space above it...

Worth the money, IYO?

Thinking of putting one in a garage that has a 16' ceiling.

Craftmade Velocity......it is amazing the shite you need to know sometimes....it moves an absurd amount of air.

I just got thru the looking for ceiling fans that moved a shite ton of air without being on some kind of turbo setting.

I spent a good bit on another model, but I remember seeing that one and looked it back up. you can look up this link and it gives you all kinds of ratings, but one is cfm.... ceiling fans

I love the one on my patio Vette Guy. Worth every penny. For a garage that tall, I would go with an Isis model. There is a Louisiana rep in the BR area. He can tell you where you can see various models in operation. You would be surprised at how many there are in this area.

Good info!

Thanks Dudes.

And my wife thought asking y'all was a dumb idea.... "All they're going to do is post a pic of the most expensive fan known to man, or some chick with big tits".....

Mentioning her now, as opposed to earlier, was the smartest decision you made in this thread
