Is Dr. Rick Ahmed still the "go to" guy in BR for hands?

Are you asking for your avatar? He's been at it quite a while.

Yes, and it is certainly taking its toll on him (and me).

I used Kelly Scranton for one and Ahmed for the other. Both good but developed trigger finger after the second and had another surgery. Easy surgery but a bigger pain than I planned for.

FYI you don't have to jump straight to surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. You can try a steroid injection which takes about a minute. Maybe you've tried that already though.

Was briefly living in Baton Rouge after Katrina and went to see an orthopedic for a hand issue. He brought in Ahmed, guy knows his shite.

I knew a shite load of people who had the surgery, and a shite load who didn't(working at an auto factory, if you don't get it, u either didnt show up or sucked arse and didnt work", and no one who had the surgery ever felt 100%, most years later ended up having worse pain.

Many who didn't get surgery, ended up feeling much better, and accepted there would be some pain.

Most of the people who had surgery, wish they would of said no. Either it hurts , hurts worse, or years later, arthritis has set in.
