Cancun in April or May

A couple of friends and I are thinking about going down to Cancun to pretty much just get drunk on the beach and party at night. I was just wondering if the OT had any suggestions on where to stay? Thanks

beginning of april you can nail college chicks on spring break
end of may and you can nail high school chicks on senior trip

I wouldn't consider staying anywhere in Cancun but the hotel zone. It's not trashy. Do not rent a car. Very bad idea in Mexico.

I rented one for a day trip down to Playa Del Carmen. Wasn't complicated.

Yeah not renting a car. Plan on being intoxicated from the time I land until the time I land back in Dallas.

We stayed at the royalton last June but it's not in the hotel zone
It was good since we didn't really want to go down the strip to bars, but if that's what you want, definitely stay in the HZ

Planning on staying in the hotel zone as close to the bars as possible.
