He wasn't around then 1 day some years ago he just showed up & was completely over the top.
Is he a made up persona like Larry the Cable Guy & he's 100% committed to it, like RDJr's character(s) in Tropic Thunder...?

He's a comedian. And I actually admire him because he quit Hollywood to focus on drug and alcohol addiction facilities and laws in England. Dude is more intelligent than people give him credit for.

Founded in 1902 in Alabama. Was the sole supplier to MLB from '92 to '99.

"On April 17, 2006, Berkshire Hathaway agreed to purchase 100% of Russell. Finally on August 1, 2006, Russell shareholders approved the sale of their firm to Berkshire Hathaway for $18.00 per share in cash. The acquisition was successfully completed on the following day. Russell's brands joined Fruit of the Loom in the Berkshire Hathaway family of products."

I think he's pretty humorous. The only things I've seen him in were the Sara Marshall and Get him to the Greek movies but he made me laugh.

He sounds like he's from London.

I opened this thread thinking it was about cheap athletic apparel, too.

I swear I thought you were referring to the athletic clothes line, like Russell sweats. I was going to comment that they used to be one of the better brands, at least in durability.

He was supposedly a comedian, and some how, bagged the pop singer. The comedian part, no one really knows.

Russell Athletic's basic mesh pocket shorts are the greatest thing on this earth. I've had the same pair of black one for like 15 years.

He carried Forgetting Sarah Marshall single handedly.. I even watched it 2 or 3 times. And I usually hate those types of movies.
