Can Any Man Get a Buzz On Just Beer?

Theoretically it's possible of course, but let's just say it takes 4-6 beers for the average sized man to "catch a buzz".
My stomach just doesn't have that capacity, and that's not even tying one on.
It's going to take liquor to get right for me.
Beer's for fishing, cutting the grass and sitting on the back porch watching the kiddos play.

Honestly cheap arse white ziphendale wine gets me buzzed as hell. I don't hold alcohol well

I'm not saying I don't like beer. It's good with a meal or to relax. It's refreshing, but I just can't imagine drinking enough to get drunk.
If I want to catch a buzz it's bourbon and soda or gin and tonic.

You missed the point. Theoretically, there's the same amount of alcohol in a beer, glass of wine and a cocktail. Beer is just filling as hell to me.
