ELMORE, AL (WSFA) -
Incredible surveillance footage shows how a frightening ordeal unfolded at an Elmore County business as an out-of-control truck plowed through the front door and down the center of the store.

Employees managed to escape the truck's path, but the driver is recovering in the hospital.

It happened Monday around 9:15 a.m. at Our Town Gun and Pawn on AL Highway 14.

The business had just opened for the day. Customers were starting to arrive and two employees were working.
