Just call the police, they'll them when you arrived home the door was open. They will send someone out to check out your house.

To get a faster response tell the dispatcher you have a weapon and are going in yourself.

If someone was hiding in your house why would they leave the front door open?

To heighten tension?

It's been proven that many rapists can't perform unless dramatic tension is raised to a maximum.

I lived in a townhouse once where 4 units were all connected. One of them was vacant all summer because the kid died and nobody wanted to move in until school started back I guess. My neighbor bangs on my door one day and says someone had been in her room. I bring over a gun and search everywhere but don't see anyone. She said stuff was moved around, her laptop had been used, food eaten, etc. Next day same thing. We call the cops and they search the place but see no sign of entry. Change locks and tell her to get alarm system. Next day same thing. Turns out a guy was living in the vacant unit and crawling through connecting attics through tiny holes he cut in the Sheetrock firewall and covered his tracks. I had a lock on mine so it couldn't be opened from inside the attic. But he had to go through mine to get to hers. fricked up. After that I boarded up my attic and made it almost impossible to happen again.

So basically I'm saying you're gonna get raped. He is in the attic.

Years back, me and my mom came driving up to her house. She says "I'll be, I left the BR light on". So we walk into the house and she goes to turn the light off. Guess what, it was turned off. So we run out of the house ASAP. Nothing stolen to our knowledge. Talk about a rush....

CSB. I know.

I did that once in Baton Rouge. I think a sliding glass door was partly open. Freaked me out.

I remember that day. She's a good, fast worker. And you're none the wiser, bud.

2 similar situations

came home on a sunday when i had not been home since friday. walked in the front door, back door was wide open. i looked everywhere for any signs of anything missing, moved, damaged etc....nothing. i just know that when i mastubate now its being published online somewhere.

came home 1 night and was too tired to make it to the bedroom. just plopped on the couch. as i'm laying there, i noticed the picture over the mantle was on the floor and the frame in pieces. this is around 11pm on a work night. i put lights on and looked for signs of shite being broken into and again, nothing. looked at the wall and the "as seen on tv" wall hanging shite was broken, causing the picture to fall. needless to say, i slept with 1 eye open that night.

moral of the stories - its ghosts
