Buying pets off Craigslist

Any of you ever bought a puppy from Craigslist? I'm not opposed to the animal shelter route it is just that there are not any puppies at the shelters in my area. I'm not picky about what type of dog it is.

i can't believe there are no puppies at the shelters. try things other than humane society or city shelter.

Bought a pug puppy off Craigslist. Best dog we've had so far. Wasn't from a breeder tho, just a military family that was moving and didn't want to take him with them.

A friend was looking on Craigslist for a dog. Every dog that she liked was an internet photo of a prize dog. The location of the dog was always in a bad part of town. I got my dog at the pound and he is the best dog I have ever had.

Did the same thing. Bought a golden puppy about 3 years ago from a military family in Texas that was moving. Best decision ever.
