I bought my ex-wife's Venza online from Dallas. I ended up calling to make an offer. Asking was $27,500. I told the sales woman I was good for $25,000 and I could wire or Visa a deposit then fly there with a Cashier's Check next day. They turned me down but they countered w/ $26,000. I held on to my bluff, told them I thought they were being very fair... but I "just didn't have it". We hung up at a stalemate. Two days letter I get a call and the sales woman said her boss decided to accept my offer... I flew out next morning and drove it home.

I would never do that. I wanted to negotiate to see if it's even worth my time to come out.

If all your negotiations are online then make sure you reference the specific VIN in all your correspondence. They will bait and switch if given the opportunity.

Can you negotiate prices with carvana or is it pay what they list it for?

You pay the price you see online. In my experience, the price listed was cheaper than I could get local dealerships down to.

It's a used 2017 Maxima SV with 1,800 miles
Are those nautical miles or statute miles?

IWNBI

After the approximately one million cars in the US have been flooded over the past month, I'd only buy a used car from someone I personally knew.

Its in Fort Worth. Ive seen the carfax and it was shipped brand new from the factory in April and went straight from factory to dealership in Fort Worth.

It was hundreds of miles from the flooding

OK

If you know that, fine.

I doubt you KNOW that.

It is required by Lightstream to verify the authenticity of PenFed's offer.

And I just checked, PenFed is offering 1.49 % on new auto loan rates, which means Lightstream will offer 1.39 %.
