It's actually illegal.
It's also pointless.
"I'm scared so I'm going to turn these blinking lights on so people know I'm scared."
Hazards are for stopped vehicles. If you're scared of the rain, pull over and turn on your hazards. That's how they're supposed to be used. You already have lights on your car for driving.

It's illegal isn't it?

Put his name out there so maybe he’ll stumble across this and he’ll read it and feel ashamed. He won’t listen to me.

I only use the hazards in bad weather when it is dark and low visibility and it's like a monsoon. They are Amber not red, so it doesn't look like I'm pumping my brakes.

He's a pussy. The flashing lights make it difficult to tell when he's really braking. At night, it really fricks with people eyes. frick him in his pussy.

You're a moron too. The flashing in dark light irritates the eyes/pupils of the person behind you, raising your chances of an accident.

Nah, trust me most do in those conditions. But, thanks for the insult.

Well most are wrong in this case. It's more dangerous to continue to drive with them on. You're endangering yourself and others more than is necessary.

If it is bad enough I will pull off the road. It's never bothered my eyes when other folks have them on in front of me. In many cases it actually helps me judge their distance and speed in really bad weather.

Way back in my high school driver's ed class we told to do it, manual said do it. So for 25 years it's just stuck with me.

I thought so too, I saw some Mississippi folk on I-10 this afternoon turn them on.
I really didn't think turning on flashers on the road during bad weather was a thing until today.

If you can't see a foot in front of your car 30 is to fast. If you can't see a foot in front of your car you should pull off the road.

Will self driving cars pull off the road?
I'll be damned if a robot shows me up.

I love these threads.
I turn on my hazards in a stiff dew now because of the melts in these threads.

You people sure do bitch about some stupid shite. I can't recall ever using my flashers but I sure don't give a shite if someone else does and never once has it "irritated my eyes/pupils."
I just might start doing it now since it's another way I can be a dick that I never thought of. Lot of big sandy vaginas in this thread and I hope I don't get hit by someone's purse.
