BRPD was awesome this morning

This female driver drove through the median on Staring Ln. this morning just after 4am into the side of my truck. My vehicle was totaled. The BRPD officer working the accident asked if I had a way to get home. I told him my wife was going to come and get me. Then it began to pour buckets, and he told me to hop in his police car, and call her to meet us at the BR city limit on Central Thwy so she wouldn't have far to drive far in bad weather. She met us less than a mile from home. Officer Brandon Beede. 
ETA: The most amazing thing about the whole incident is that this female driver on Staring Ln. had insurance.

BRPD gave my girlfriend and I a ride home late one night when we got a flat and her car had a seized lug nut and her shitty Asian made lug wrench was useless. The one and only time I've been in the back of a cop car. Did you know the backseats are plastic and have holes for handcuffed hands? News to me.
Granted I had to ask for the ride. He was in an adjacent parking lot watching DVDs. I walked over and asked if he had a better lug wrench. He wasn't happy I interrupted his episode of Dexter, but he eventually dug in his trunk and confirmed he had a shitty lug wrench as well.
