§34.7. Aggravated second degree battery
A. Aggravated second degree battery is a battery committed with a dangerous weapon when the offender intentionally inflicts serious bodily injury.

(3) "Serious bodily injury" means bodily injury which involves unconsciousness, extreme physical pain or protracted and obvious disfigurement, or protracted loss or impairment of the function of a bodily member, organ, or mental faculty, or a substantial risk of death.

a police officer should be fired immediately if they get arrested...should be part of the rules

So if I whooped my own arse and blamed another person, they should lose their job for it? I'm not saying this is how it went down but you see the problem with wrongful termination, right? Maybe the guy he whooped on tried to feel up his wife. Best to let all the facts out before jumping on someone. If he deserves to be fired then he will be.

Actually, in the real world most jobs could care less if your were arrested on your own time for getting into a fight in a bar.

He looks like the kind of cop who gives you a ticket for going five over or a tail light out or something.

This is not his first run in with the law...he shouldn't have been a LEO after the 2004 issues.
To all you LEOs out there, we want to respect and honor you. But you need to keep your noses clean when you are off duty.
Acting like this guy or supporting those that act like this is WRONG !

Prove it!!?? You weren't there!! Talk just spreads around Port Vincent/LP/AP like wild fire. You probably heard the same story everyone else did and just because you may know the people involved, think you can get away with saying you were there!! Knowing a first hand account of the story does NOT mean you were there!

The guy that got his arse whooped was a bandito prospect or wannabe.
He also, after continued attempts to stop him, pushed situation into a fight. He assaulted the guy with beer bottle. He also made verbal threats to the effect that his bandito boys were going to take the guy and his family out. He did get a serious arse whooping as a result. The only problem he will have is possibly continuing to whoop this guys behind when he could no longer fight back.

I'm not good with someone threatening my family. Sounds like the guy needed an arse whipping
