How do the outlets compare to the main store in terms of quality? Looking to load up on a few more sport shirts

I haven't noticed any difference.
Go to Gift Card Granny and buy a gift card for 20% off before you go. That way you can stack discounts because gift cards are a payment method.

Will the gift card stack with the corporate discount? And would the outlet honor the corporate discount on items on sale?

I have had two BB shirts I bought at the outlet come apart on the side seam. Easily fixed, but that's not the point. Also could just be coincidence.
SO there does seem to be a difference in my experience.

I've read the shirts are slightly different. How have the outlet shirts held up?

This guy gets it.

The sleeves usually wear out within 9-12 months.

The are different and shittier. Still not a terrible shirt.

Yes. Because its a payment method.
Here's how it has worked for me:
Buy $250 gift card for $200 (save $50)
Buy $300 worth of merchandise 20% off sale for $240.00 (save $60.00)
Redeem 10 percent off email coupon or corporate discount (save $24.00)
End up getting $300 worth of merchandise for $216, plus you have $34 left on gift card.
Note: Gift Card Granny discounts fluctuate based on availability. I normally buy at 18-22% off at Brooks Brothers but as of right now, they are 15.8% off. Still a significant discount if you are going to make a significant purchase.

The frick are you doing to your shirts?

I've had problems with 2 of 8-9 that I've bought. Won't stop me from getting more. And never had any problems with the pants/shorts.

Stuff 8s far inferior, but still equal to Jos A Bank

The 346 line (Brooks Outlet brand) isn't really all that great.
With the sales that Brooks Brothers run these days-Semi Annual, Friends and Family, various other sales they run throughout the year (2 shirts for 99)...I dont' see a reason to shop at the outlets.

My outlet shirts always wear out, have shitty button sewing, or bad seams
Posted on 7/1/16 at 11:06 am to TheOcean
A lot of the cheaper line stuff there, but the regular slacks and shirts I've bought have held up.
The outlet I would worry more about is Allen Edmonds. Almost bought a pair of cap toe shoes and then noticed the cap piece was stitched way out of angle.

It's the same stuff so far as I can tell. I wish they'd make driving gloves again this winter - they haven't made them since 2013 and my pairs are getting a bit worn

Kind of what I was thinking. I need to return some shirts from the semi-annual sale and may just swap them out online instead of returning at an outlet
Do they have any of their regular non-346 shirts at an outlet?

I haven't noticed any on t shirts, but the suit quality isn't even close to the same.

They might...it's hit or miss.
When Brooks first opened outlets, their stock was almost exclusively stuff straight from their flagship stores.
But with the popularity of outlet shopping these days, they have pretty much phased out all of their flagship merchandise with the 346 line of theirs.
