Saw this headed out on sea trials back about 5 or 6 years ago out of Mobile Bay

Imagine that futuristic ship as an aircraft carrier and its planes on inflatable pontoons. Planes would land anywhere nearby in the water and taxi into the cargo bay.

Anyone that knows the UK knows that this will never be built. By the time this got approval from parliament, the damn thing would be obsolete and we'd all be 100 years in the grave.

To save money, they axed their troop support aircraft and now use USAF on contract.
