I10 drivers have to be the most dangerous. No one will put the phone down. I was behind one going 15-20 under the speed limit. Phone in the face the whole time. Texting and weaving. So, as soon as possible got around and away from them because they are gonna cause havoc sooner or later. I was thinking as I passed. "Man, someone not on the phone going the speed limit will plow them over." Three lanes in this area, I'm in the far right. In the mirror a big lifted ford is bearing down. No big deal he has two other open lanes. This dude is clipping along at 85+. He gets right on me and cuts to the middle lane. Almost clips my left rear as he goes by. Super close. As he flies by, one thing I notice is that he's holding a phone with both hands on top of the steering wheel!! Put the freaking phone down people! Rant over.

The only time I post on this website is when I'm bored, driving on the interstate and drunk.

i would +100 if i could. Texting and driving is super dangerous. I see it all the time and the person is almost always driving like a drunk.

Stay off the phone while the vehicle is in motion people.

Ive made a habit of checking out other drivers and my scientific conclusions are:

80+% of drivers 16-30 text/read phone while driving

40+% of drivers 30+ text/read phone while driving

I dont like to text and drive but I do read emails and text while driving.

I also read TD while driving and only post something when it's important.

I'm more afraid of texting drivers than terrorists and it's not even close.

This.

It's bad on the surface streets too. Dickhole is texting, doesn't notice turn arrow until everyone is laying on their horns, then dickhole makes the light but no one else does.

Pisses me the frick off.

I see your posts every day. I'm calling BS on you being bored that much.

It utterly shocks me at the length of time I'll see people staring at their phone without looking up ONCE while behind the wheel. These people are more dangerous than 90% of the people that get pulled over at DWI checkpoints. The penalties should be just as harsh.

Watched some dumb bitch on 110 yesterday evening around 6pm almost swerve into a car in the lane next to her because she was too busy typing into her phone to realize someone was right beside her (on her right side). Within two-three minutes she just barely missed rear-ending the vehicle in front of her, didn't slow down at all just slammed on her brakes at the last minute.

Had two cars in front of me this morning on 12, one on each side of a dump truck and all three going about the same speed. Sure enough the two assholes in the passenger vehicles were typing on their phones.

frick seat belt check-points, Kip needs some undercover units cruising around and pulling these asshats over and given a ticket for operating a vehicle in an unsafe manner. The money the city could make from that would fund his Alive project as well as cover any debts caused by sexual harassment lawsuits.
