I think all stores should take care of our police. But damn, talk about abusing the system.

Once a cop told me no matter what the emergency call the fire department. Basically told me if a guy is breaking down your door trying to kill you just call 911 and yell fire.

Documents obtained by the WBRZ Investigative Unit show the Texaco on Scotland Avenue reported Corporal Jeffrey Coleman for trying to walk out with a lemon cake and Powerade when the clerk caught him. "I don't pay for this stuff, we get it free," Coleman was quoted as telling the worker in the documents. The clerk responded that the store gives uniformed officers free fountain drinks and coffee.

Sounds like abuse of a nice perk the store was giving him.

No cops are fatter than the Orleans parish sheriffs. At least the ones who guard the courthouse. Every single one is grotesquely deformed by fat or general failure.

Why would a store near Baker call the BRPD?

ETA: It looks like the store is just inside the city limits. This douche cop needs to stick to B Quik.

Smartest advice you could ever get.

Cops can take 15-20 mins sometimes to get to you. Firefighters will be there in less than 5.

Four days later in November 2011, he was involved in another hit-and-run.In this situation, he was in his personal vehicle and the wreck involved a school bus that was dropping off a child. The paperworkreported Coleman hit the stop signon the side of the bus as Colemandrove around the bus. Coleman was charged with hit-and-run.

For both incidents, Coleman was given a 30-day suspension and lost his police car for three months.

For this he should have been fired and put in jail. Nothing worse than a low life who endangers a child's life by driving around a stopped school bus.
