If you want to harp on the drastic historical increase in the percentage of births to unwed mothers, you'd be best served by addressing your frustration at MARRIED women.
In 1960 the birth rate for married women of all races was 156.9 per 1000 married women. If that rate held true in 2016, there would have been 4.21MM births to married women instead of the 2.38MM that there actually were. The percentage of babies born to unwed mothers would be 27.5% - basically the equivalent rate in 1988.
Wrong wrong wrong.
We as a society have developed to a point where it is not necessary and would actually be beneficial to scale back- or at least slow down- births because advances in medicine and services/goods allow the overwhelming majority of children to survive into adulthood and families no longer need large families to run households.
You don't blame the group that is reproducing responsibly for not following the example of the irresponsible group which is constantly spawning wildly and with no forethought.

You have a point with the amount of people needed to operate a household, but the national birth rate is already below the replacement rate. By and large the American economy is built on the back of American consumption, and that consumption is going to be more and more difficult to replace as the population inevitably starts its decline.

It isn't blame in the traditional sense, it is blame for the numbers themselves. They aren't doing anything wrong per se, but the lack of children in married couples is still culpable in the drastic increase we've seen in the last 50 years.

i blame absent black fathers for my racism.

He was behind Kap, one if his reasons was if a white guy drives an expensive car it's ok, if a black guy drives one, people wonder where he got it from.
Maybe things are diff up in the racist north, but this thought never crosses my mind. Usually when I see someone driving an expensive car down in the south, I just figure they have a lot of debt.

And yet Jones & J.Hill are ESPN's go to experts on any sports issue involving race. Greenberg has been quoting him extensively the past 2 days & today even read from Jone's blog.

So do I. It's called Stupidville.

Ain't it funny how the black family was actually better off under Jim Crow? Lower unemployment compared to today, fewer of them locked up, a whole lot more kids growing up in 2-parent households. I don't know the education stats, but I'd be willing to bet they did better in school as well.

Yeah.
I hate it when douchebag sports reporters think they actually have something relevant to say about sociopolitical issues. See Keith Olberdouche.
You do sports for a reason. There's a reason you're not on "Meet The Press". Just STFU about the real world. Nobody wants your take.

I know where he is trying to go - oppression leading to poverty, poverty leading to crime - but he doesn't have much of a leg to stand on with the absent fathers = racism idea.
Sure, racism of the past is a big reason why we are where we are today, but trying to pretend there is zero accountability for a black person who kills another black person is LOL funny.
If he wanted to say it's one of many reasons, he'd be correct.

These racist explanations for everything bad in their lives is so played out! Give us a phuckin break already. This country has catered to black people and homos for the last 20 years. Both black people and homos have been glorified in the media far too long for any of them to be complaining about hate towards them. White people are now the outcast. For Gods sake, even Bruce Jenner was being labeled a hero in this country! Get over it people.

I don't think the media glorifies gay people, except for Bruce Jenner, or maybe I just never notice. Who else? A lot of gay people used to live in fear and be depressed. With all the mental problems and depression in this country, it just doesn't make sense to tell people they can't be who they are.

ESPN's main marketing goal is to generate clicks and Twitter trends. That's why there is all of this racebaiting driving their content.

Exactly. I can't listen to him after that. He is no longer trying to be rational.

I don't even know how I get through a day in America as a white male outcast, it's tough!!!

Blaming others for your frick-ups is getting ridiculous. Standard SJW go-to move tho

I 100% believe if he didn't have his gig now, he'd be one of those race baiting family "lawyer" people we see all over TV when a black kid gets shot. We think he's ridiculous, and I'm pretty sure what we see is a very mild version of his beliefs.

Yes. When you're constantly being blamed for everyone else's downfalls you become an outcast. Pay attention.
