Oh, the data the government wants to mine from medical records gets peculiar-er and peculiar-er.

But in all honesty, I was wondering how often people had to be seen multiple times after running into a light post. I do (quite im)patiently await that publication in its entirety, but I'll settle for just the data tables in the next 7 years.

Y92253 - Hurt at the Opera

Close.
I have Andrew Lloyd Webber-induced narcolepsy. I am sure I am not the only person to experience this issue.

Thanks for posting, more "I'm here from the Government and I'm here to help."*

*The most frightening sentence one can hear with ten words in the American English language.

Most of these are more likely ID10-T codes.

I would have thought a lot of people were "Hurt at the Opera".

The government is unbelievably stupid.

We don't need a code for every possible cause of an injury. That just creates unnecessary paperwork and clogs up the system, so we all pay more for less health care.

Just go with the actual injury that was treated (animal bite, contusion, etc.) The government doesn't need to know it was a turtle.

But the turtle might be endangered ...
