Not a bad career. Stripes in 1981 was the first major movie in which he appeared. He was also in a Pat Benatar music video.

I just watched Stripes the other night. On rottentomatoes he is just listed as a "soldier".

Paxton seemed to be in a fairly big movie almost every couple of years.

At 61, he was pretty young.
