I have a lightweight leather jacket I wear in the summer if I'm going on a long ride, if it's just putting around town I just wear a tee shirt

I bought a hot weather jacket for long summer rides. It's like an air conditioner. Highly recommend it.

Just picked one up at Wilson's leather of all places it was their end of spring sale. Got it for like $70 with the mil discount. Wore it this weekend it was perfect. I have a mesh Harley jacket I wear sometimes in the summer it just feels like it bunches up on my arms.

Anyway back to the real topic at hand, interesting write up says that 14 Waco PD are on admin leave for firing during the incident not the 3 or 4 originally stated by the Waco PD.

Yeah I've already decided that we are never really going to get the truth about what really happened, but it's going to make it uncomfortable to ride around central Texas for the summer, damn shame.

I could be wrong but I believe that is misinformation. The Cossacks paid dues to be an MC in Texas and wear MC but from what I understood they took to flying the Texas rocker and quit paying dues simultaneously.

Were they paying dues to the COC or the Banditos?

The legal fight is just beginning. Once the criminal phase is through for each defendant, the civil trials will flood Waco.

One attorney, representing two of the arrested, is already calling for the whole judicial branch that has been involved to step aside.

He is beginning to tell the story of his clients civil rights violations and is running it by a higher judge. He wants bail reduction and wants his clients, who were apparently uninvolved, to be let go now.

He is also an import, from Austin, and does not care about their wee local politics.

In seeking to dismiss the charges against his clients, Reposa alleges the identical arrest warrant affidavits filed in all 170 cases fail to allege the elements of an engaging in organized criminal activity case, paints all defendants with an overly broad brush and rely on nothing more than “guilt by association.”

Exactly.

While this attorney is just getting started, I would bet we will see him file for a stay on selling his clients' seized property before the big sale.

Remember how I've compared the COC's to being similar to the UN and each MC member is like country members of the UN. Well if that's the case, the big outlaw clubs play the role of the US, Russia, China and the rest of the permanent member's of the UN security council.

Therein lies the problem for other bikers. Either the "outlaw" clubs need to be kicked out of the UN or all other members need to withdraw from the UN and form a new United Federation or whatever.

You're right. Therein lies our problem. And there is no easy answer.,

Easy answer. Each entity comes to the meeting with three representatives. No country brings a battalion to a UN meeting.

The meeting is sanctuary. No weapons allowed, independent security. It is a meeting, not a barking, growling, and biting contest.

Why is it that people who want to form a legitimate MC feel the need to include the 1% who are generating problems for everyone?

The family members don't get to or want to kick Don Corleone from the table. Maybe 1 out of 20 at the table aren't actively part of the business. The rest are family.

Distorted MC is a new mom and pop motorcycle club in Texas. “Mom and Pop” means they are family oriented, all very close knit and loving and most club events are okay to bring the whole family. They are proud of their seven members and five ol ladies, who spend one hundred percent of their club time and money doing things to help children in need, clothes drives toy runs, and sponsoring families at Christmastime. The fact that this MC is very much NOT one of the hardcore clubs is that it allows women to become full patch wearers. Everyone in the biker community knows that women absolutely never under any circumstances are allowed to join clubs such as the Bandidos or the Hells Angels. That MC stands for “men’s club” in their opinions. Distorted is indeed a baby club, born only six months ago. They hadn’t even had time to wear the shine off their patches when their lives changed unexpectedly.

They all went to just another CoC meeting on another bright Texas Sunday afternoon. Julie Perkins, a full patch member, left her ol’ lady at home not feeling well and joined several of her club brothers, while Morgan English decided to attend the meeting at the last minute with her husband. The Distorted members were not in the immediate vicinity of the altercation or the shooting, by two separate accounts when they heard shots fired. They heard someone yell for them get down. Julie saw her friend from the Line Riders go down. The cops came in like swat with AK-47s and made them lay on the floor face down for quite some time. They were then taken outside where they had to sit around for several hours. Around 8 p.m. Julie messaged Kamala that they would be taken to a convention center to answer a few questions and then she would be home. This was the last she heard from Julie that night. The next morning it was on the news that the bikers had all been arrested. Over half of Distorted MC has been behind bars for over a week, including the two women, Julie and Morgan. They have all lost their jobs, vehicles, and reputations. Their club would have to gather an accumulative 6,000-6,000,000 to get them all out on bond. Morgan and her husband are both in jail, which has to be having a detrimental effect on their home and life.

Do you? If you are paying to the COC you are supporting the Banditos.

Not east of the Mississippi. They have a presence but they're not the dominate club like they are in Texas.

If you live in Mississippi and you are in the COC you are a supporter of the Bandidos.

I'm not in Mississippi. Banditos are the dominate club in Texas, Louisiana, & Mississippi. And And while thy have a presence in Alabama, mostly in south Alabama, they're not the dominate 1%er club. Here's it's the Outlaws and DD's. Tennessee and Georgia are Outlaw country as well. Florida, well Florida is Florida. It's a mess down there. You've got Outlaws, HA's, Warlocks and God knows who else.
