So sensitive and violent? Cool. Sounds like good people.

LOL. I'll bet you couldn't even afford to buy a house down in the garden home section of my neighborhood.

1. Don't call them a "biker gang". That's a huge insult.
2. Don't call them brother.
3. If they're talking, don't interrupt them.
4. Do not touch their cut (what you call their jacket)
6. Don't ask things like how many members they have or things of that nature.

Sounds like some high school drama queens. That's a lot of rules for dudes who hate the establishment and rules.

That's a big misconception about the MC world. MCs are very structured and orderly in how they function internally as well as with other clubs.

Like I said earlier, these rules were put in place long before my time with the goal being to keep the peace between clubs.

So what does this have to do with terrorizing citizens over the language they speak again?

I don't know any motorcycle clubs from Germany, but I do know the Nazis from Natchez

Terrorize? Odds are all that would happen is they'd respectfully correct you on something like saying "biker gang" or calling them "brother" (although that one could get sticky with the wrong guy). Now if you kept on using that "language" after they've corrected you, then it's on you for being an a-hole.

The advice I gave the OP was only an attempt to try and help him smooth over things with these HA's that he's already had a negative encounter with.

Why are bikers so sensitive? For "tough guys" they really seem to get butthurt by a lot

I suggest the best way to gain an understanding of what you're asking is for you to go find some bikers in your area and ask them this question face to face.

Let us know what they say.
oddly you kind of just reaffirmed his point.

Thing is, I'm typically a respectful guy with strangers. However, I sam "brother" a lot to folks since I have several brothers and I always liked hulk hogan. It just became a habit. Also, I am genuinely interested in different sociological groups and particularly counter culturall groups, so it would be challenging NOT to ask a ton of questions.

I would think the best advice would be to leave them alone.

Like I told him, if you called one of them "brother", odds are they'll just tell you to call them by whatever their name is. Yes, if they're an a-hole and looking for trouble (which as you know there's always "that guy" in every crowd) they could try and start some shite. But odds are they won't.

As for questions, again unless they just happen to be an a-hole, they'll probably be glad to answer whatever questions you have so long as you don't go asking about things such as membership numbers or things they consider private club business. We know there are a ton of misconceptions out there about MC's that give us a bad reputation. That's why most of us are happy to take any opportunity to dispel those misconceptions. Just don't go trying to dig into private club affairs and you'll be fine.

I suggest you ask them for the name and cell number of their gang president so you can file a formal complaint about their behavior.

You can. I wouldn't reccomend it unless you know him well. But it's a free country. Do what you want.

If I thought you were an imbecile, I'd come out and tell you that you're an imbecile.

But I don't know you so I'm not going to throw out some meaningless insult at you. I find people who do things like that to be imbeciles.
