am flying form Houston to Bham for the ole miss game. I have family in Nashville that I thought I could squeeze in and see them on the last half of the trip. hence the need to get a one way trip to Nashville.

You do know it's only like 25 dollars for a shitty rental car, right? Are you that much of a cheap frick not to do that? Seriously, unless you have a friend who is willing to drive there for less, you're not going to get a cheaper deal than a rental. Stop being a cheap piece of shite and get a rental car for 3 fricking hours and drive to Nashville. Your question is simply ridiculous.

Good, good, my son, feel the hatred boil in your soul......

I too have very little patience for those completely stuck on stupid. It doesn't help that it's a Bama fan.

Kinda redundant, upon reflection.

1-65...
Greyhound from Nashville to B'ham and back would be cheap, and the greyhound station in B'ham is right downtown.

I've traveled Greyhound probably 10 times before and there's few normal/non-trashy people but 3 hours is nothing, the ride between Birmingham and Nashville is nothing. You will want to shower and wash your clothes when you get off though.

But it takes less than 3 hours to get there. This is the most pointless driving thread ever.

I was wondering if this thread was real life.

It's a great drive. I like driving through northern Alabama and the scenery is pretty good at the state line.

It doesn't sound like you're smart enough to pull this off.

Greyhound will run you about $25 but do you really want to be on a smelly bus when you could just drive the 3hrs yourself?

You could do mega bus from Birmingham to Atlanta, then from Atlanta to Nashville (no direct route from B'ham to Nashville). It would take a while...but the mega bus isn't a terrible way to travel...much better than Grayhound.
