Putting my rig on the market this week, I've searched Autotrader and eBay and eBay looks better hosting the classifieds...but autotrader probably had more reach. I'll likely post on La sportsman and Tacoma world, but I just want to link to my classified ad wherever I post that.

Where should that be?

Q2: Would y'all take all this shite off, have a friend who wants to buy the rack and bestop, and put it back stock? I have the original wheels too.

Last craigslist sell was a nightmare, and I owe money on this one. I don't have the title, and I assume someone will finance this...just not sure how to do it privately.

I normally use the Facebook resale sites first then try craigslist if I get desperate.

I would part it out and sell as stock.

Post a better pic of your wife and you might get some better answers.

In all seriousness, if you have someone willing to buy the top and the rack, sell them. They won't add any $$$$ to the value of the truck if you leave them on.

I'd personally avoid the craigslist and facebook route. all you are going to get is "I want it but can you finance it?"

I'd take off the aftermarket accessories you have on it. As someone else mentioned take it off and sell it separately.

You will make more money selling those separately, plus selling the truck stock.

Eta: looks like others already covered this

I'd try to sell it on an off-road site before trying to bring it back to stock. Ih8mud.com would be a good start. There are two LA Land Cruiser/Toyota clubs that are members there.

They will actually give you a fair price (Blue Book Value)

It's a manual transmissioned truck, which is very rare on the used market. There's one on autotrader some 1400 miles away, and I couldn't find any comps on eBay. It's a frickng awesome truck when shifting through the gears 4Lo.

Title company can handle the payoff and buyer finance deal, etc. Call a title company and ask them how to go about arranging a sale. It can be done just like at a dealership. (if your buyer is willing which they should be if its a reputable title company). Their lender might actually specify what title company to use.

That'd make them the only dealer that uses blue book. Which blue book value do you claim they use? (Retail, trade, etc.)

Talk to your lender and ask them how to pay it off from a 3rd party.

That will be one of the easiest vehicles to sell unless you have extremely high miles?

Just post a realistic price and set it at firm, and NADA is not always realistic. See what others are selling for online to compare. You said its manual, so its just the 4 cylinder right? Some people want that, others def don't. Like anyone that has a decent sized boat.

I've sold a few built toyotas on that site and you're normally dealing with a more honest crowd than the other sites mentioned.

It's a DCSB SR5 V6 (bigger than the new ones) 4x4 with less than 50k miles. And this:
