Looking to find a nice ski resort town that is also nice for people who don't ski. I've been to Winter Park and Aspen before. Enjoyed both but Winter Park had a tiny town with nothing to do. A couple who want to come with us has a disability and can't ski anymore.

Breckenridge is the best town for non-skiers(not a fan of the slopes)imho. Vail is nice.

Park City or Breckenridge

They are real towns with nice Main Streets lots of non resort owned stores and restaurants

Vail is a fake Disneyized resort on the interstate. Great skiing though.

I don't care much for skiing, but find steamboat springs to be my favorite...it is not the largest of towns, but has a good bit of stuff to do both in town and in the surrounding wilderness...

Most large resorts will have non skiing things to do. Near Breck and Keystone there is tubing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, etc. Breck has one of the nicer main streets around.

Tahoe

If they like to gamble. Lots of places to eat and drink.

They also have cruises that go out over the lake. One takes you across to ski another mountain, then a bar on the trip back. Private cruises, dinner cruises with a band and dancing
