My wife and I are taking my daughters to the LSU softball game tomorrow night and want to go eat somewhere after. We have three of their friends coming also. What is the best restaurant to eat but isn't overpriced in Baton Rouge?

Parrains & la lagniappe aren't comparable. Both are great, but it's apples and oranges. Parrains is more post softball game. But I'd say come back towards the casino and go to roberto's. It's not that far from lsu

He said isn't overpriced. Louisiana lagniappe is not over priced. You pay about $25 per entree. Parrains and chimes is not significantly less to say how much better Louisiana lagniappe is IMO. Grant it, I'm not sure I would want to pay that much for a bunch of kids.

I think most of Lagniappe's plates are in the $30's.

They have fillet on the kids' menu for God's sake.
