Yep and call ahead to make sure they have it. And not sure why but St Aug cost more than Centipede

I ordered a pallet of St. Augustine from Quality Sod a few weeks ago. They delivered it the next day. It was $229 for the pallet and $69 for delivery.

said try calling on Friday around lunch

i feel like it would be better to go with either of these two places versus Cleggs or La nursery and that if Cleggs or LA can do it

Cleggs can and will deliver it too but it has been so wet it is hard to come buy. I order and pick up a pallet when I need it from Woerner and use Cleggs as a last resort. Even Home Depot gets it from time to time.

Most of that sod is coming from around Foley Alabama and it is just as wet there as here so they don't cut much until it dries out some.

I called Belle Sod in Donaldsonville a few weeks ago and a pallet of st Aug was I think $169. Best price I found. I didn't ask about delivery though. If you do find out what there delivery is let me know

Belle Sod is shite quality.

Also, realize that a pallet of st Aug will be weighing over 3k pounds right now so account for how you will move this.

only truck i have access to is a honda ridgeline... dont think a pallet is safe in that truck unfortunately.

Just found a trailer though

Damn! Price fluctuates that much over a 2-3 week span? I had no idea. This is my first experience sod shopping.

I called Quality Sod yesterday and ordered 4 pallets of St. Aug to be delivered to me this Friday.

I used Quality Sod last year for 7 pallets and every single piece of sod from those 7 pallets is alive and kicking.

ETA:

It shouldn't fluctuate that much.

If it is limited usually there is gouging though.
