Bought a sport coat from McClavy the other day. They were very nice to me. Have no experience with the other places.

Mclavys, might be bias though as I have gone there for years and have a good relationship with the owners.

They're super helpful, good inventory and will order or find anything they don't have in stock

I've actually never been to Carriages. I've just heard Matt Moscona on ESPN radio say that it's a department store edited down to the needs of the Baton Rouge community, and that sounds so awful that I'm afraid to go in there.

I've never been to Perlis in BR, but I like the one in Mandeville. Very good selection. McLavy's and Carriages have a pretty good selection in BR. Harper's never seems to have that much. They may have a good suit selection. I've never speed for that there.

I worked for Harper's for a couple years. Saying that, Carriages is my favorite

Depends on what you are looking for. If it is frat apparel, Mclavy's or maybe Carriages. If actual menswear, then maybe George Bass or Harper's.
