I like Windsor Courts club level. Ritz is good, but factor in the hood rats that hang out on front on canal is that bothers you.

Roosevelt's rooms are small to me and both times I've stayed there I've had issues with the windows not blocking out enough of the noise on the streets at night.

Stay at the Windsor Court and you are across the street from Harrahs and Restaurant August.

The Roosevelt is terrible for the price. People stay there just to say they are staying in the Roosevelt

Ritz is not better by a mile in any way to me, if any better at all.
What do they do great compared to the others mentioned?

How are the rooms and service? I've visited the restaurant and the rooftop bar. Pretty damn cool place.

You could negotiate a better rate in person, however that's easy money.

amazing that the former owner of the Ritz has a nice huge suite on the top floor that takes up a quarter of the top floor. Very interesting suite indead. The bathroom was all mirrored and there is a six foot tall ostrich in the living room.
