Buying a house here... does anyone have a handle on the best company for insurance

no flood zone, house is about 80 years old

I hear Liberty Mutual has really good rates.

I have MetLife and it their quote blew Allstate and State Farm out the door....I I think I pay $177 for House note and 2 cars.

I had ASI until they jacked the rates up on us a year ago. Have Liberty Mutual now

Agree about MetLife. I just recently switched from State Farm to MetLife. Cut my premium payments more than 50%.

really depends on your location as to which independent company would be cheaper

if you have great credit, federated national won't be beaten

i think federated has been wonderful

Went with the advice here... went for the multiple quote thing. MetLife came back with 166/month and 130 a month for two cars. (two older cars0
