I've put on ~21k miles since March 2015... so that's ~2,300+ miles per month...

I drive a 2015 Toyota, but I don't know if I should be putting another 2,300/mo miles going forward...

Any thoughts on if I should just drive this into the ground or re-up and do it to a new car this year?

Thanks.

Tacomas last forever. If youre OK with the gas mpg, you are good.

Unless you definitely can afford it, drive that thing until the wheels fall off.

How long should I keep *this* car? I've never had a requirement like this with a car...

do you pay for gasoline and maintenance?...is the car comfortable to you, or would you buy something else next time?...

Yes. I still have 2 more maintenance services available.

Yes, I suppose.

I mean, I have the means for a nicer car... I don't want to go buying a nice car just to drive it into the ground...

You're kind of running out of options then.

You could buy a shitty car and drive that into the ground maybe.

I dont get it. You have a job that you drive 2300 miles a month with no car allowance?

I mean, I get a stipend every two weeks that's "supposed" to go to gas/maintenance... but there's no requirement to provide receipts or anything.

What exactly are you doing? No way you should be putting that kind of miles on a personal vehicle unless they company is paying enough extra to cover the note plus maintance.

My girl drives a company car, it is a Toyota Avalon. Nice car with great gas mileage.

If they aren't paying enough to cover all the expenses I'd just get a cheap corolla and run that bitch until it dies.

You could just start 'trading' them in often. Buy used with ~15 miles and sell every 18 months or so. If you get good deals on the front end you may never take too big of a hit and you'll always have a reliable ride.

Well, considering the number of Miles you put on it, you're most definitely underwater, and always will be if you get a new vehicle every year. It depreciates much faster you can pay on it currently. You need to wait until its paid off and you have at least some bit of equity.
