I'm coming to a point in my career that I will be doing more and more public speaking. I know it is essential, and while I don't think I am terrible, I do still have a lot to work on. I know one of Warren Buffet's most proud accomplishments was his completion of the Dale Carnegie public speaking class, so I've looked into some of those books, but I found them to be somewhat useful, while dated.

Does the OT have any recommendations? Whether if be a specific course, not just a random one at a college, I've taken those, a cd/audio book, or anything else

Google all of Reagan's speeches; he's the GOAT.

Go stand on a street corner and just belch out a bunch of garbage about how God hates figs and what not.

Sink or Swim.

Pace back and forth, use hand gestures and motions, use a pointer if need be, be confident, have a large penis, impregnate the female audience with your looks...

Pretty simple stuff really.

Join your local Toastmaster's you'll get lots of practice this way. Public speaking isn't something you can get better at by reading books, you need to just do it and get feedback.

Just say bigly, yuge, mightily, and say the leader of your competitor company is "a nasty woman." Recipe for success.

ETA: Oh, and you can't forget to say the plan you have for your company is tremendous.

Just yell, make fists, and hit the podium a lot.

This. I did it many years ago and it helped a lot with being able to organize your thoughts and present them in an entertaining and informative manner. No substitute for practicing at the meetings in front of a group of people.
