Best was a mission trip to Oradea Romania. We built an orphanage for missionaries our church supported.

Worst was a mission trip to Mexico where we got pulled over by a cop. We all thought we were going to jail.

I'm in Colombia right now, it's turning out to be my best overseas experience thus far.

As far as bad ones; I don't have one, they've all been pretty good trips.

Best: Probably getting smashed in Hong Kong.

Worst: Going on a 28 hour train ride through China where a mentally retarded female was across the aisle from me and tried to kill everyone on board.

Best was a long night of partying in Timisoara, Romania.

Worst was bailing my buddy out of jail the next morning in Timisoara, Romania. Then having to fly to Germany to explain to a general why we were paying so hard in Romania.

Eastern Europe

Even though I've only been to Greece and Turkey I find Eastern Europe to be more interesting.

Going to Barcelona this year so maybe that will change.

Worst was a nightmare hospital stay in Mexico when my daughter got sick. Poor care, a nurse stole my wife's phone, and they wouldn't treat or release my daughter until the credit card cleared. The ultimate experience in unregulated for-profit medicine. They let her sit in a coma with 104 fever until card cleared but it was a Sunday and bank stopped my card bc the fraud dept didn't know I was in Mexico. I was nearly arrested for losing my mind.

Worst. Trying to go out to pool with Montezumas while in Mexico. At a shitty resort pun intended. Had to run to pool restroom. This is in august. It is not air conditioned and is a sunken bathroom meaning below pool deck level. This shitter had been obliterated 12 times over before I gave it an uppercut. Sweating and discharging my back valve whilst smelling a symphony of odors.

Best. Jamaica. In Negril on a catamaran trip to a cliff diving site. Perfect amount of GOOD food and red stripe. Sunset and perfect water. I asked the guys on board if they had any snorkeling gear. He looked at me weird and said nobody ever asks. Gave me his own fins and mask from below. Water was so crystal I thought it was about 20 feet and I could get to bottom. Kicked down and realized it was about 60 feet and I have 20 feet to get up with no air left and no bottom to push off of. Only tip the guy on board wanted was my old Nike hat. I told him it was beat to shite and wanted to leave him $$. He said he'd rather the hat for working on the boat. All around great day.

Best experience was spending three weeks in Australia flying 9 hours every other day looking for MH370. The days off were amazing also.

I don't really have a worst experience besides leaving my family behind for 13 months out of the past 24. It takes a toll after a while (1 more month though)

Yea the cost of living there is insane, esp since their dollar is basically worth a little less than ours.

If I can get a deployment in before the stan wraps up im taking 2 weeks of RR to downunder.
