re: Best all inclusive resort in Cancun area?

I think we went to The Oasis. Huge pool. Swim up bars. We had a blast.

The two story with excellence club or regular?

Edit: the only thing I don't like about the two story is no ocean view...says pool view.

What's the best all inclusive resort in the Cancun area for those who have been?

I have been 3 times, the best place I stayed was the Cancun Palace but I can't definitively say it is the best of the best down there. Also not sure what you value most in a place, food, beach, location, price ect but overall experience was best at Cancun Palace.

Wife and I are booked 2 story club level ocean front in 3 weeks. Place looks and sounds great to me. I love reading the different reports on Trip Adviser. Some people will complain about ANY little thing. My favorite is the the newlywed from Texas that complained about all of the bigger breasted (than her) topless women everywhere at the resort

I'll report back to this thread while I'm there and let you know how it is.

We are in building 9. Top floor. Max privacy great ocean view.top story rooms have their own pool. The swim ups depending on location have little privacy. Yes to the club. Three outside beds which may not be so attractive in the summer but we spent one whole afternoon in the breeze reading and listening to wifi music. Great honeymoon anniversary place.

Excellence club w/ ocean view. Nice perks on the beach. We went in December and it got a little cooler at night. They will send someone to your rooftop while your at dinner to warm up the rooftop pool while your gone, anything and everything is a phone call away. Except hookers and blow, but I'm sure even that could be settled with a nice tip.

If your going to Cancun and you want it to be nice then stay at Le Blanc. Second choice and this is the one we did last year for a week since it was about half the price was Live Aqua. It was fantastic.

if you decide on excellence, pay the little extra and do the excellence club. private part of the beach, private pool and bar only for the "VIPs"

Excellence Playa Mujeres is really awesome. Make sure you get the swim up room. We really enjoyed that.

2 Story with lounge pool and bed. Bang beneath the stars, as well as during the day with no one able to see.

If it's just you and lady friend, Sun Palace, without a doubt.

Problem with Cancun resorts are the amount of people and rooms and battling to get into the restaurants.

Sun Palace is 150 rooms, couples only (so 300 people total at a time, yet it's NEVER sold out when I've been). Alcohol in room, night shows, lounge, 24hr room service included, great service, etc.

Oh and did I mention, NO KIDS. It's fricken excellence.
