I knew a sheriff that had one for work. That thing was so damn mean he wouldn't let it near his kids.

The second one is definitely a GSD, not a BMS.

Both breeds are badass mofos for sure.

Mean does not necessitate a good Police dog. I've seen some of the nicest, social dogs you could meet and interact with that would handle their business with a criminal.

Didn't say it did. Just said he wouldn't let it near his kids.

GSD's can be both great police dogs and wonderful house pets.

MWD's and police dogs are not mean. The training and work is a big game to them. Like other dogs, they perform to make their handlers happy and get rewarded.

I'm not sure if I enjoy watching them get the dog or the taser more...but both are definitely must see TV.

I have a K9 cop that lives 3 houses down from me. He has two K9's. Those are some serious dogs. A friend has GS the dogs head is about the size of a show box, it's insane.

My Dad has a GSD. She's a great dog, but all she gets after are bees that are getting into the house.

I fricking love how that K9 that was laying down jumped on the suspect as soon as he made a move to resist. Awesome reflex and training.

Nice takedowns; I wonder if we can rent these dogs to show our defense how to tackle better
