Own it. No one cares anymore about beards.

If it's well maintained, and it's not the Yankees, you're fine.

If you're interviewing for a brewmaster position keep it. Otherwise I'd shave

Yes I want the job. The beard is clean. The job is in Louisiana, but the company started up north, so I'm not sure in the interviewer will be a yankee or southerner.

Be proud to be a man. Assert your dominance throughout the interview.

Beards are the new ed hardy shirts. Would you wear an ed hardy shirt to a job interview?

A very clean, neatly trimmed bear should be fine.

Well say there is a 10% chance the interviewer thinks a beard on a salesman is a sloppy look, is your beard worth that 1 in 10 chance it causes him to look elsewhere?

Or 5% ??

If I'm an interviewer that doesn't like beards on a salesman, but I liked him and his credentials, I would just tell him to shave if he got the job. It's just hard to know.
